Stay on top of cases with status updates

Now, you can provide client status updates through the platform in just a few clicks. 

Please note this feature is only available for desktop and not yet accessible on mobile. 

Here’s how it works: 

On your individual client page: 

  1. Navigate to the page of the client you want to provide an update on

  2. Go to “case status” – you’ll see the most recent update here 

  3. To add a new update, select “Update status” in the bottom right corner of the case status section

  4. Write your status update

  5. Confirm dependencies for the update by clicking on “Waiting on someone” and selecting who you’re waiting on before you can move to the next step. If there are no dependencies, click "Not waiting on someone."  

  6. Click “Submit” 

How to delegate a task: 

  1. On each individual client’s page, you’ll see an arrow in the far right of the case status section 

  2. Select the person you’d like to delegate the task to in your dropdown menu 

  3. Type a message to person you’re delegating to, explaining the task 

  4. Click “Delegate” 

  5. The delegated task will appear in the activity log

See and add status updates from your Client list:  

  1. Once you’ve completed an update, you can also see it on your Clients page in the Marble Home

  2. To see it, hover over the client’s name 

  3. Select the briefcase icon to the right of the client’s name  

  4. A pop-up will appear where all case status updates will automatically populate – you can also submit new status updates using the pop-up
