

Managing client documents from your Marble Attorney Home
Now, you can add, view and manage all of your client’s case-related documents in one place – the Documents tab of your Marble Attorney Home. From here, paralegals will also be able to add files, edit the categories and more.
Here’s how to view, upload and edit client documents:
In your Marble Attorney Home, go to your client list and choose the client whose files you want to see.
You’ll see the “Documents” tab on the left.
Click it to view all documents related to that client's case.
To upload a new document, click the “Upload” button at the top right of the page.
To make changes to a document, click the three dots to the far right of the document row.
From there, you can download, rename, or delete the document. NOTE: You can only delete documents that you’ve uploaded.
You can also edit the document type, labeling them as client relationship documents, court filings, responses and more, to keep everything organized.
Need to search for a specific document? Use the search bar at the top of the page.

Can I use the Documents tab in the mobile app?
Currently, you can only access this feature from the Marble Attorney Home, but stay tuned for updates to the Marble Attorney App!
What If I accidentally delete a document?
Currently, we don’t support document recovery in the Marble Attorney Home. We recommend saving all documents to your desktop–both your own and those you receive from clients–in advance of uploading so you can re-upload if you accidentally delete them.
Can paralegals edit/delete documents for the case?
Yes! Paralegals have the same exact access to the Documents tab as attorneys do, which means they add, download, and edit document categories.
Why do paralegals need access to the Documents tab?
Paralegals can use the Documents tab to verify that files have been uploaded and received successfully, assisting both attorneys and clients to move the case forward.
Can clients access all the uploaded documents?
Yes, any files uploaded to a client’s Documents tab will be visible to that client. And when a client uploads a document to their Marble Home, it will automatically appear in the documents section of your Marble Attorney Home.
If a case is reassigned, do the documents carry over?
Yes, all documents will be made available to the attorney working on that case.
Can I upload multiple documents?
Yes, you can upload as many documents as you want to.
