What does limited scope mean?
Limited scope representation is a term that describes when a client hires a lawyer to complete a specific task (or service) for their case. At Marble we explain this model to clients as “pay per step.”
This enables us to give a clear price for each service; clients know exactly what’s included and what it costs—before we start working on their case.
This is different from many other law firms that choose to charge a retainer fee and bill by the hour.
